What To Expect At Your Visit
Your first visit is where we sit down in person or by telehealth, talk about where you are, and get acquainted. From there, we work on goals you feel are important in your healing journey. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that works best with participation and investment from the client and therapist alike. But in the end, making small changes to thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can bring healing.
Mended Hearts Counseling is providing sessions via telehealth as well as in person sessions. If choosing in person sessions, Mended Hearts Counseling has taken steps to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 within the office. Please let us know if you have questions about these efforts. Mended Hearts Counseling cannot prevent you, your family, or other visitors from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing our business services or premises.
Our Mission
We believe that God loves us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die for us to save us from our sins (John 3:16). God also wants us to be healthy, holy, and living in peace. We believe Jesus is our ultimate healer and it is through Jesus’ mighty healing, He uses us, as counselors, to help in emotional, psychological, behavioral, and relational healing.
Mended Hearts Counseling does not discriminate. We are committed to helping Christians and non-Christians alike through their healing process.
